Matt Damon is an actor and one of the members of the F.A.G. (Film Actor's Guild) who hates Team America. He can only say his name, which are the only two words he says throughout the entire film.
Background[]
Matt accompanies Alec Baldwin and the other actors to the fake peace conference hosted by Kim Jong-il. In the shootout at the palace between the F.A.G. and Team America, Matt engages in a fist fight with Joe, whom he grabs from behind. He is then shoved against the wall by Joe in retaliation. While he fights with Joe, Gary sneaks up behind him and snaps his neck, killing him instantly. His body may have been incinerated by the same fire that later kills Tim Robbins.

- The real Matt Damon is friends with Trey Parker and Matt Stone. However, in a 2016 interview, Damon was confused by his portrayal in the movie, due to the fact he was known as "a screenwriter and an actor", saying “I was always bewildered by that, and I never talked to Trey and Matt about that. And incidentally, I believe those two are geniuses, and I don't use that word lightly. I think they are absolute geniuses, and what they've done is awesome and I'm a big fan of theirs, but I never quite understood that one.". Parker and Stone have stated the reason for this portrayal is that he was supposed to be intelligent and articulate, but the puppet came out of the kiln looking retarded, so they went with that.
