"Hey, Team America. I got something for you. Prepare to die!"
―Michael Moore

Michael Moore is an American filmmaker who appears in Team America: World Police.

Background[]

Michael Moore despised Team America and protested against them. He attended the angry demonstration against them outside Team America's base at Mount Rushmore. In an interview with World Evening News hosted by Peter Jennings, he called Team America fascists and declared that they should be completely brought down. He later broke into the hangar and entered the Team America base. He had a powerful bomb strapped to his body and held a detonator for it in his hand. Spottswoode became aware of his presence, but before he could do anything, Michael detonated the bomb, causing a massive explosion to occur inside the base. The bomb killed Michael and destroyed most of the base, as well as wiping out the teams communication systems. Ultimately, his plan failed, as both Spottswoode and the Team America supercomputer, I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E., survived the explosion.

Trivia[]

  • In Team America: World Police, Moore is depicted as a fat, hot dog-eating glutton who partakes in suicide bombing and is referred to as a "giant socialist weasel" by I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E.
  • Matt Stone explained the reason for this portrayal in an MSNBC interview: "We have a very specific beef with Michael Moore. . . . I did an interview, and he didn't mischaracterize me or anything I said in Bowling for Columbine. But what he did do was put this cartoon [titled A Brief History of the United States of America, written by Moore, animated and directed by Harold Moss] right after me that made it look like we did that cartoon."
  • His puppet was stuffed with ham before it was blown up.
